Ambrose Adams is one of many Jiu-Jitsu success stories. He started training Brazilian Jiu-Jiu Jitsu in 2009 under James Clingerman at the Indiana Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Like many people starting Jiu-Jitsu, Ambrose’s motivation for training was primarily for weight loss. In fact, in the first six months of training alone, Ambrose lost 100 pounds.

Though his journey started as a means of exercise, it became a passion, and Ambrose took to the sport quickly. During his time at blue and purple belt, Ambrose competed often and placed at numerous events, securing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals at the Chicago Open.

In May of 2017 Ambrose moved to Texas and continued training under Jeremy Mahon at the W4R Training Center in Tomball, TX. As a Brown Belt, Ambrose open Kinetic Grappling in College station Tx and was awarded his black belt on August 8, 2021. As the Head instructor and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Coach.
